Earlier this year, I believe I posted about what I was sure would be my new obsession: Cockatoo Island, Building #2. Well I've been meaning to go back to that but yadda yadda, things get in the way... Guess it's time to knock it over!
Although I started out by throwing myself into this project and really truly loving it, the romance soon faded and I found that it really dragged on. Fantastic experience overall and I was happy with what I produced,however it was completely different from what I first had in mind... which can be seen as both a good and bad thing!
The final concept for this project was LINK, which challenged me in many different ways. At first I resisted the concept but eventually decided to embrace it and run with it, and it all worked out quite well. So LINK was the concept and the purpose of the building was for it to be transformed into a bridal retreat and a place for women to go together to bond and celebrate.
